Welcome Back!

It's been a real joy to welcome Cherry Class into the new Year 4 classroom today! We have done a variety of different activities, ranging from a classroom objects hunt to making a start on our artwork for Art Week 2019. I was also very impressed with all of your work that you had done over the summer holidays on sharing your holiday activities with us - well done!

We have the Base 2 Parents' Meeting coming up next Tuesday (10th September) which will provide you with further information about life in Year 4, but just so that you are aware:

-PE is on a Tuesday and Thursday, so please ensure that your children have the necessary kit in school with them on these days. From Thursday Sept 12 to Oct 17th inclusive, the Y4 children will be going swimming. Separate information to follow.

-Volunteers are always welcome in the classroom, so if you fancy coming in and doing some activities with us then please do let me know.

-Reading books and reading records will be handed out later this week to help your child to read regularly at home.
