Day 6

Today on a bright and sunny morning we set off on a sight seeing bus around the city. We saw some amazing sights  including the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell. 

We learnt that the Sagrada Familia will be completed in 2026 (which will be the centenary of Guadi's death). We really admired his mindful outlook on life as we discovered when he was asked to comment on how long the Cathedral would take to complete he said "My client is not in a hurry, God has all the time in the world".

We have been inspired by the unusual Gaudi architecture - he was clearly a creative thinker. It has given us lots of ideas for our own artwork back at school.

We leave for Barcelona Airport tomorrow morning. We have had an amazing educational and cultural visit. Looking forward to seeing you all on Monday.
