World Book Day 2019

What a fantastic World Book Day (and whole week!) we have had!

Through the week we have had a class swap, where the teachers read one of their favourite books to another class. Year 2 were lucky enough to have Mr Brierley come and read to them, whilst Miss Robinson took our class book 'Hubert Horatio: How to Raise Grown-ups' by Lauren Child (our focus author) to Year 4 to read! We then teamed up with Year 4 to read a book to a buddy from another class.

All our outfits on Thursday were absolutely incredible! And we even enjoyed a special World Book Day assembly to showcase them - great effort Year 2.

Congratulations to our Six Book Challenge winners (see above!) Madeleine, Emma, Faith, Noah, Elizabeth and Izzy - enjoy your mini egg prizes! And a big thank you to Mrs Jones and Miss Jackson for organising.

Don't forget, next week we have Science Week in school, starting with our Science Fair after school on Monday 11th March and ending with Comic Relief (dress in red!) On Friday 15th March.

Have a great weekend all,
Miss Robinson.
