Exploring Place Value
Working with hundredths and tenths!
Today we investigated the place value of numbers from 0 to 1.1 by populating our giant number line! We put our decimal numbers on post-its so that we could move them around. We had lots of interesting conversations about where the numbers should go, and looked at how 0.1 is very different to 0.01! Tomorrow we will add the fractions..!
