A few dates for the Summer...

I hope you are all enjoying the break, it has been lovely to see the sun trying its best to shine over the past few days!

Looking ahead to the Summer Term here are a few dates and events to looks forward to in Year Two...

Wednesday 18th April - Simon Murray, author and illustrator visiting us to run creative workshops.

Thursday 19th April - Maths Calculation Morning 9-10.30am, join us in the classroom to learn more about how we teach calculation in Year Two.

Wednesday 25th April - Year Two Spelling Day. Get practising all those spellings we have learnt over the year, especially those common exception words ready for a day of scrabble, boggle, bananagrams and a spelling bee with a range of noisy buzzers! (see link below)

Wednesday 6th June - Base One DT Day. Inspired by our topic on London this term we will be creating structures from all around the world and, as always, would love for as many of you to join us if you can!
