A huge thank you ...

Dear all,

I would just like to say a huge heartfelt thank you for all of my amazing gifts I received.  I was truly overwhelmed by your generosity and all your kind words.  I am looking forward to using them, wearing them, drinking them and eating them!

I hope you all have a super summer.  I will be enjoying some lovely family time with my boys and maybe fitting in some time by the seaside.  I'm looking forward to seeing you all again on my days in Year 2.

Thank you again, you have been a great support.

DT Day ...

The children had a super creative day for our DT day.  They worked brilliantly with Year 2 and spent the day creating their own playgrounds.  Hopefully you managed to see them in our own playground today.  If you didn't, here are some pictures for you.

Thank you to all the parents who came in to support the children with their work today - your support is always very much appreciated - thank you!

Out and About in Keyworth ...

Year 1 and Year 2 had a fantastic trip out and about in Keyworth yesterday.  We enjoyed a sunny walk to the shops to complete a survey.  A visit to the playground to help with our DT project next week – and a chance to have a little play!  We were also lucky enough to visit 2 churches, enjoying singing, stories and artefact hunts!  The children had a great day and behaved brilliantly!  A big thank you to all the adult volunteers – we really appreciate your support!

Please take a look at a small selection of some of the pictures taken from the day.

Lastly, if you're out and about in Keyworth yourself tomorrow and head up to the Keyworth show, you should be able to see the children's pirate flags they created for the Horticultural, Arts and Crafts Show.  They made a great job of them so hopefully we’ll get a winner!

Have a lovely weekend.

Mrs Payne and Mrs Westie
