We are delighted to be so closely involved with work to help Kadzinuni, a community in Kenya. Since 1998 the people of Keyworth, through the Friends of Kadzinuni group, have worked to help the community of Kadzinuni and the 450 children and eight teachers at the school.
This year’s Fun Run has raised £450 which will be used to provide beds for the Kadzinuni Community Health Centre.
We have received the following letter from Nic and Elaine Seller, fomer Crossdale parents and founders and tireless coordinators of Friends of Kadzinuni.
“Sunday was a lovely day. As always, it was a truly family friendly event at Crossdale. We are immensely pleased to be associated with the school and so proud that you chose to support Kadzinuni.
Please pass on our thanks to everyone involved. The cheque is safely in the bank and when we visit Kadzinuni in February we’ll check out exactly how many beds it will buy for the clinic extension.
Crossdale staff, children and families were instrumental in us starting our amazing Kadzinuni journey back in 1998; ten years on we have now transformed the lives of people there. There is a lot more to do but we remain inspired by your support.
Best wishes and thanks, not just from us, but from the whole community at Kadzinuni.
