Friends of Crossdale

This group (also known as the PTA) is made up of parents/carers and staff, who together work hard to organise events and activities throughout the year to benefit the school. Events usually have a fund raising focus, but are always fun and are intended to strengthen the bonds between families and the school.

• Parent Members – All parents and carers of children at Crossdale are automatically members of the Friends of Crossdale. All are very welcome at all events and meetings.

Purchases funded by the PTA

Over the last 3 years the PTA have raised over £20,000 for the school . Recent

purchases have included:

• Welcome Garden
• Reception/Base 2 Books
• Footprints Theatre Group – storytelling sessions during Book week
• New Staging
• Activate resources
• Music resources
• Life Trailer

The recent ‘Big Get Together’ was held to raise the profile of the PTA and celebrate its successes. The committee were able to show everyone how much fun is had at PTA events, and how participation leads to the funding of much-needed projects for the school. It was very well attended. If you didn’t manage to make it along, the PTA would love to see you at their next meeting or event.
